When the sanding of your floors begin it is usually best to be out of the house in most situations. The typical sand and finish job takes 3-5 days to get 3 coats of finish installed on the floors. The number of days depends on the stain color and square footage.
When having new wood flooring installed you always need the wood to acclimate to your home prior to the installation. This period is usually 2 days depending on the type of wood and the environment it is being installed in. We can typically install most jobs in 1-2 days once the flooring has adjusted.
